English as a Second Language (ESL)

If you want to learn English, choose to attend our Intensive (full-time) or Semi-Intensive (Part-time) ESL program.

The English as a Second Language programs at APPROACH is designed for ESL students of all levels who need quality of lessons and flexibility of schedule offerings at affordable prices. Our methodology emphasizes individual needs and gives you the strategies to function, perform and rapidly communicate. A comprehensive cultural immersion maximizes the learning experience.

We offer 6 levels of ESL instruction – from low beginner to high advanced. Classes are small and cover all subjects: grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, conversation, listening and pronunciation. This focus allows students and instructors to connect the language as a whole and to identify the weaknesses and needs of individual students. Our faculty members are native speakers, certified to teach ESL and most hold a Masters’ degree in teaching English as a Second Language or linguistics.

The ESL curriculum correlates to the Common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR) – a standard for grading an individual’s language proficiency around the world and our ESL levels correlate to the major proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge examinations and ITEP among others.
