How to Apply for a Driver’s License?
To apply for a Driver’s License international students must have:
- A denial letter from Social Security Administration or a Social Security Number.
- An I-20 valid for 1 year.
- Written test to get a Driving Permit
- Road test to get a Driver’s License
- Real ID= Necessary to travel in the U.S. without a passport.
In Massachusetts, the RMV requests an I-20 for a 12 month period in order to apply for a license. If you have an I-20 valid for less than one year, we will need a bank statement showing the sufficient funds required in order to extend it.
